Stowe, Vermont

Stowe, Vermont

I went to Stowe in the summertime (although I am dying to walk around the quaint town in the winter; I am sure it’s charming). I went to Idletyme brewery, which is a crowd favorite. It was beautiful- the outside glowing with greenery and sunflowers. Because of this, I am having a hard time picturing it in the winter, but I am sure it is a fun experience inside as well.

Edson Hill

  • This was a beautiful restaurant within a bed and breakfast type looking resort. Again, I am having a hard time picturing it in the winter because it was so beautiful in the summer. This is definitely one of the nicest restaurants in Stowe, given that the whole town is overall a very casual and family friendly vibe.

Cork

  •  As seen on winter house, this is a very popular wine bar and restaurant in Stowe. I came here more than once while I was here. This place had a couple rose wines by the glass on tap that I really enjoyed trying. And if I remember correctly, they also have some amazing bread here. Definitely more of a trendier spot to go to for lunch or dinner!

The Alchemist

  • Stowe is known for their breweries, so we stopped by The Alchemist which has a huge warehouse space. When I went, it was still covid-y times, so we did not stay, but I think that now you can go and enjoy your beers on the property. You can also purchase cans to go!
