Bagatelle - St Tropez
This was my favorite day spent in St Tropez. It was such a fun party afternoon with amazing food. Coming here, you think “how good could the food really be”, but I have to say I was impressed. Not only can you dance on the tables, but you can enjoy a stunning truffle pizza drizzled with spicy olive oil. We went in May when it wasn’t quite beach season yet, but later in the summer they do have the option to sit on lounge chairs and daybeds on the beach.
Le Plongeoir - Nice
This was the most stunning restaurant of the whole trip. It has basically a 360 degree view of the ocean due to the fact that it is located on a famous pillar of rocks hovering over the sea. I definitely recommend coming here during the day for lunch rather than at night so you can really take in all the views.
Villa Azur - St Tropez
This is a great place to go if you are craving Italian food during your stay. I had amazing burrata and a truffle ravioli special that was to die for. It is typically more of a party restaurant, but when we went it was pretty tame (which is exactly what we needed after days of partying). Villa Azur also has a ton of locations in the US such as Miami and Vegas, so it is not a big deal if you don’t make it to this location.
Le Petite Plage - St Tropez
This place had some great Mediterranean food. And as the name suggests, the floor was completely just all free sand. The vibe is bright and fun, and there are hot pink flowers woven all through the ceiling. Le petite plage has other locations (such as St Barths) and is not unique to St Tropez so it is okay if you don’t have time to hit this one during your visit.
Blue Beach - Nice
There are many places along the beach just off the boardwalk in Nice, so my friend and I stopped in here after a tour we took. We walked right up in the afternoon and had no problem sitting at a table in the sand right away. It is beautiful to even just sit there on a lounge chair and enjoy some rose and look at the ocean.
Paper Plane - Nice
I came here for brunch the first time I came to the South of France pre-covid and loved it. They had a breakfast sampler special where you got two full plates of little bites to try and it was awesome. The restaurant definitely had more of a hipster vibe to it. This is also a good spot if you are looking for something healthy to start your day.
Bar du Port - St Tropez
This was just a little bar outside along the water that we popped into on our way to L’Opera for dinner. I had an amazing passionfruit and tequila martini. This is a reliable spot for a good drink if you are running early for any of your reservations.
L’Opera - St Tropez
This place was a very similar vibe to Bagatelle- with dancers & singers coming out to do a mini show every 30 minutes. We came here for dinner, but I think there is a party for lunch as well. There are tons of videos of celebrities coming here in the past, like Ben and Jlo right when they got back together!
Baoli - Cannes
This place was a party! We went at night after a long day on a boat, but quickly rallied after hearing the DJ music. There was some kind of sponsored Dom Perignon party going on that night too. There is a section of tables where you can order dinner, and then a side club room as well. I had a great sushi roll and we all had a few rounds of tequila shots before hitting the club room. Again beware of the prices here- coming here is definitely a commitment for the amount the drinks cost, but it was a really fun time.
Hotel du Cap - Antibes
This was the most beautiful hotel I have ever seen. Everything about it was screaming luxury. When we were here, it was during the Cannes festival, so there were certain sections down below by the water that were roped off for private parties. We had a bellini at their “Bellini Bar” on the back and deck, and it was just stunning. Beware that it is also stupidly expensive. I’m pretty sure my bellini was 40 euros, but I was really paying for the view and beautiful scenery.
Dior Cafe - St Tropez
Cute to go for a cup of coffee in the morning if you are walking around town, but not necessary to go out of your way for. If you are a HUGE dior fan then I would say it is worth it, but other than that there are a ton of other cafes that you can slip into during your day of shopping.
