Santorini, Greece

Lycabettus

  • This was my favorite meal in Santorini, and it was definitely the fanciest restaurant we went to during our time in greece. This restaurant is technically located in the Andronis hotel, but the entire restaurant is outside on the cliff. We enjoyed the “degustation menu” aka tasting menu with 10 courses. They also had very innovative cocktails. If you had to do one really fancy long dinner on your vacation, this would be the spot to do so.

Canaves Oia Suites Poolside

  • We stayed here at the Canaves Oia Suites and had many meals poolside. The breakfast and lunch restaurant is located directly next to the lounge chairs, so you have a great view of the sea. These are the same tables that then turn into the Petra restaurant at night. I dream about this caesar salad I had poolside; it may be the best caesar I have ever had. The staff also came around in the late afternoon and handed us mini margarita shots which was a really fun touch!

Elements Restaurant inside Canaves Oia Epitome

  • For our last night, we went to the new restaurant inside the Epitome hotel under the Canaves Oia Resort brand. The inside almost felt like a jungle vibe with tons of greenery and wood. We went out with a bang with a caviar spread and steak.

Petra Restaurant inside Canaves Oia Suites

  • This was my second favorite dinner I had in Santorini - it was also a bit of an upscale experience with a tasting menu. I enjoyed their presentation of the small bites before our first courses came out. They also had great cocktails - I had a spicy tequila cocktail with a black volcanic salt rim.

Santo Wines

  • This was one of the spots along the way of our wine tour. This had a fabulous view overlooking the sea and all of Santorini as it was pretty high up. They gave us a few little food plates to pick on with cheese and fruit, but the real star of the show was obviously the wines. This is a great place to go if you are looking to purchase and ship some Assyrtiko home!

Somewhere I hope to go in the future:

Selene

  • For the last night of our trip, we were all too exhausted to sit at a 13 course tasting menu meal. We had a reservation here, and ended up canceling it in the moment to relax, but I really wish I went! I hear this place is an absolutely amazing experience and a must do if you are a foodie heading to Santorini. There is also a wine tasting option here!
