Paris

Benoit

  • I wish I could teleport back to the night I went here for dinner. Everything from the dishware to the service was great. This is a one Michelin star restaurant by Chef Ducasse, who has many restaurants around the world. This spot, though, is very different from his more casual Benoit in New York City. We enjoyed a 5 course meal of lamb chops, salmon, truffle asparagus, crawfish soup, selection of cheeses, a classic millefeuille with vanilla cream, and madeleines with hot chocolate sauce. This is a MUST do when you are in Paris.

Chez Francis

  • This was a casual cafe across from the Eiffel Tower so it was a great spot to sit outside with a view. I ordered a french classic - the pot-au-feu with a side of bone marrow as I was really trying to get into the culture. They had tons of other options as well, which I honestly wish I went with.

Laduree

  • We stopped at the original Laduree as I felt we had to go. We enjoyed a nice little tea time brunch filled with macaroons and pastries. It was lovely, but I remember it being so hot in the upstairs.

Chez Andre

  • This was a super casual bistro where we had dinner on our first night in Paris before heading to our Burlesque show. Here I had some of the best escargot I’ve ever had.

Le Cafe Marly

  • In my book, this is also a must-do while in Paris. It is a fabulous cafe right next to the Louvre. When I was here, I only came for a drink, but you really only come here for the view. It is also seen in a ton of movies and shows such as Emily in Paris. If you were to see a celebrity in Paris, it would probably be here.

Cafe Panis

  • This was a small cafe we stumbled into after visiting Notre Dame. It is nestled on the corner across the street. It was a great random find where we enjoyed classics such as french onion soup, steak frites, and Croque Madame.

Where I need to try: Guy Savoy & Ferdi.

  • I have been to Guy Savoy in Vegas and I am dying to go to the location in Paris. Since it is a French restaurant, I feel like it would be an even experience in the country. Unlike the Vegas location that has two stars, the Paris location has three. The other restaurant I am dying to try in Vegas is Ferdi, which is known to have the best burger. This is the burger spot that all the Victoria Secret models would go to after the famous fashion show.
