Although we were not allowed to take any pictures inside of the food itself, I still wanted to make a post about this exceptional restaurant. We had been dying to go to Masa in Columbus Circle for a long time, and we finally pulled the trigger for my dad's birthday. This three michelin star & 20 course omakase (menu pictured) was some of the best sushi I had ever had. It made the quality of Nobu's fish look like child's play. My personal favorite dishes were the toro with osetra caviar and the roasted Hawaiian papaya with uni custard. Not pictured on the menu is an optional course we added of wagyu topped with thinly shaved black truffle (unreal).  

Given that this is a set menu and approximately $800 per person without tax, tip, or alcohol included, this is a place for a very special occasion. I highly recommend it if you are looking to splurge with someone who has a love for sushi!
