DOPO La Spiaggia East Hampton
A great Italian spot with nice outdoor seating in both East Hampton and Sag Harbor. Harder to get a reservation, so make one further in advance!
The Clam Bar Montauk
On the side of the Montauk Highway, this is a historical spot for a great lobster roll. I actually came here well into the fall so we paired our rolls with pumpkin Montauk beers. This is super casual and plays great oldies like Kenny Loggins.
Si Si Restaurant in the EHP Resort & Marina
This spot was on its first summer open when I went in summer of 2021. It is located on the water in the back of the EHP Resort and Marina in East Hampton. It has a gorgeous view of sunset and the yachts at the marina. It had more of a Mediterranean flare, and also had great cocktails.
Grindstone Coffee and Donuts (Sag Harbor)
This is a very famous donut spot in Sag Harbor that I actually read about in a novel I just read by Jessica Knoll. I soon after realized I had actually tried these! They are awesome high end donuts, although I did not get around to actually trying the coffee.
Duryea’s in Orient Point (North Fork)
There are two Duryea’s in the area - one in Montauk and one in Orient Point. I have only ever been to the Orient Point one, but after this one, I am dying to check out the Montuak one. This place was giving Mykonos lunch vibes in the decor, and all the food was fresh. We shared lobster pasta and the famous & huge lobster salad.
Sunset Beach (Shelter Island)
This was probably the coolest spot I had been to in the “Hamptons” area. It is actually located on Shelter Island and is a hotel, restaurant, and beach. This seemed like the spot to be for a night out partying as well. There were outside tables in the front, as well as lounge seating around a fire in the back.
