Casa Cruz
This London originated members club opened a location in the upper east side, and it is absolutely stunning. Although it is technically a club, it is open to the public for brunch and dinner. It is located in an old brownstone and has 5 floors. We sat in the lounge area on the second floor and had a cocktail before heading to our table on the third floor.
This is not a traditional Italian spot. It is actually described as “Positano meets Pampas”- meaning that it is Italian with an Argentinian flare! My favorite dishes of this meal were the orecchiette lemon and the sticky toffee pudding.
These portions were great for sharing, so we went about the brunch in a family style manor. I loved going here location wise as well because usually I am making the trip all the way downtown for a special outing like this. Special shout out to my aunt for taking the gals out on the town!
