Aruba

Ritz Carlton: BLT Steak

  • This was a great, classic steakhouse in the Ritz Carlton. You have all your basics here and it’s a reliable spot for a good cocktail.

Ritz Carlton: Casa Nonna

  • I think this may have been my favorite spot food wise while we were in Aruba. I know it really should be one of the seafood places, but my chicken parm was pretty amazing. This is also located in the Ritz Carlton.

Barefoot Restaurant

  • This was by far the most scenic place we went to, located right on the beach. Obviously given its name, we took our shoes off right away. The food was pretty basic here, all good seafood but nothing too spectacular. You really come here for the view.

Azia

  • This is probably the only asian spot in Aruba, a good switch up of flavors with all the caribbean type cuisine we were having. It has more of a swanky, Nobu-type vibe and is located right in town. I really enjoyed the teriyaki salmon I ordered that came cooking on a hot stone.

Papiemento Restaurant

  • This was another great scenic restaurant, and I am pretty sure there was live music of sorts playing. Everyone is seated at tables with white cloth outside under tons of trees and greenery. There is also a pool, so it really almost looks like you are in someone’s backyard. This is just traditional island flare/seafood as well.
