Positano: Chez Black
This was a great place right on the beach down below in Positano. This is one of the most picture worthy spots due to their fun decor, menus, and plates. It is perfect for lunch on a hot day when it is time to sit in the shade, or dinner when you still want an ocean view.
Capri: Restaurant La Terrazza di Lucullo in the Caesar Augustus in Anacapri
This is an amazing view right on the edge of the cliff in Anacapri. We actually stayed at the Caesar Augustus Hotel, so we came here twice- once for lunch and once for dinner. This was the best pesto pasta I had ever had because it was made so fresh from the herbs in their garden on the property.
Aurora Restaurant
This is a great, casual spot in the town of Capri we stopped at for lunch. There are pictures all over the walls of all the celebrities that have visited. I had a pizza that was so thin it was probably more fragile than a saltine cracker. Everything here was great- definitely a must hit spot even if you are just coming to Capri for the day.
Il Riccio Capri
If you only have one night in Capri, this is where you have to go for dinner. The view is breathtaking, right on the side of the cliff overlooking the water. Looking out the window, you practically feel like you are in the middle of the ocean. We came here during the sunset and it was magical. All of the decor is a gorgeous blue, even the separate dessert room that you can browse and pick anything you want from after your meal. I had the lobster seafood pasta and it was amazing. This is a celebrity hotspot as well and apparently is Kris Jenner’s favorite restaurant in Capri.
Sorrento: O'Parrucchiano La Favorita
This was an adorable spot nestled in the town in Sorrento. There were lemon trees everywhere all around the restaurant, so it creates a scenic vibe. I was told by many people when coming to Sorrento that this is a famous spot that should be top of my list. The food is very traditional here- make sure to get the famous cannelloni.
L’Olivo Anacapri
This was the fanciest restaurant we went to in Anacapri, but it was not our favorite. When we went, this restaurant had three Michelin stars, but now it seems to have only two. We enjoyed everything and thought it was very innovative, but sometimes I felt as though the plates were almost too complicated. At times, the three michelin star restaurants become more about the presentation and the show than the food itself. This place did have the most beautiful view of the sunset hitting the back of their big umbrella pine trees.
Positano beach club Lunch: Remmese
This was a beach club we pulled up to for lunch about halfway through our boat day. This was absolutely stunning right on the water. I definitely recommend coming here in the daytime to really take in all the views. As for food, I remember loving a linguine and clams dish.
